Red Oak Tree
The Red Oak tree is also another awesome shade tree. Since the branches spread so widely, its best to have a large space for this kind of tree. A Red Oak is known to grow as big as 60-80 feet tall, and 40-60 feet wide. The nice thing about this tree is that it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance, but remember it’s always best to plant a tree in good soil with good fertilizer. The time frame for growth in these trees is under five years, but once they start getting larger, they tend to grow rapidly.
When fall comes, the leaves will start to turn from green to red and orange. Don’t worry, this is just part of the many development stages in growing trees. If you have a red oak tree or know somebody that does, feel free to share your input, as we’d love to hear what you have to say.
